Water on the floor near your dishwasher is never random - it’s a clear sign something needs attention.

This Jenn-Air dishwasher was leaving moisture underneath during the wash cycle. No obvious cracks, no error codes, and the unit could still run, which is exactly why leaks like this are often missed until they damage flooring, cabinets, or the subfloor.
During professional diagnostics, the issue was traced to the air chamber area. When the air chamber seal and alignment are no longer tight under operating pressure, water can escape slowly and inconsistently. That “small puddle” can grow over time, especially during longer cycles and higher water temperature phases.
Our service included a complete internal leak inspection, checking the sump and circulation area, correcting the air chamber position, improving the sealing surface, and confirming results with real-cycle testing. After the repair, the dishwasher operated stable and dry, with no moisture under the unit.
If you notice water under the dishwasher, dampness at the base, or a recurring musty smell, early diagnostics can prevent bigger problems.
Appliance Fix Lab provides dishwasher diagnostics and repair in Winnipeg and surrounding areas, including Jenn-Air and many other major brands.
